This was originally painted for Condé Nast Traveler Magazine for a column called Getaways. The article featured a list of top hotels each month and a painting of one of those featured. The painting depicts a well preserved Georgian style mansion that at the time of the magazine article was being used as an upscale bed and breakfast on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The building has reverted back to being a private residence.
